101 Things - The idea

So I came across this idea here and have come up with my own list.
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

I shall be starting the list 9th September 2009 and finishing it 6th June 2012.

No. 15 Try 10 new foods (2/10)
No. 23 Eat in 10 restaurants I have never been to before (1/10)
No.57 Go on ten ‘dates’ with my husband (1/10)

There is a little restaurant called The Loch Ness Inn near my parents house. It use to be The Lewiston where I worked on the bar at Christmas time. It stood empty for years and then last year was refurbished. Matt and I went there last week for my birthday , a lovely little cosy restaurant! It was lovely and I tried Seatrout and Aspargus. Both were lovely and will be trying them again!

No. 80 Do three things I have never done before (2/3)

Last night was my first night at Pilates. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to toning up my post baby body!!

No. 44 Make 10 new friends (1/10)

I had to think how do you class a 'new friend', so I decided when I put their number in my phone, they are a new friend! I have been going to Baby Cafe for a few weeks now, I am planning to meet up with one of the girls on Thursday so I now class her as a new friend!

Day Thirteen

I have not kept on top of my posting last few days so going to update what I have achieved so far.

No.65 Have a professional photo shootdone of Imogen

We went on Saturday but they were running 50 minutes late so by time we got in there, Imogen was very grumpy and tired. Which was a shame as she had been so smiley beforehand! Never mind, going back in November and trying again!

No.69 Watch 50 films (1/50) The Secret Life of Bees

Matt and I watched 'The Secret Life of Bees' I had been wanting to watch this for a while. I had read the book and really enjoyed it. The film did a good job of telling the story, and I had forgotten how emotional it was in places!

No.83 Straighten my hair every day for a week (7/7)

I am really bad for tying my hair back every day, so I had it cut into a short bob and I have had to straighten it everyday! It is actually quite nice leaving the house knowing my hair looks reasonably presentable!!

No. 97 Start a conversation with someone new at toddler group

This was really easy actually, when you have a 5 week old baby in your arms, you can to talk anyone!!

Photoshoot done of all three of us.
